Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with VIM Sauna. By purchasing from vimsauna.com, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Orders and payment
All orders require a 10% deposit at the time of checkout. This deposit is fully refundable prior to production payment. The remaining 90% balance is due before production begins and is non-refundable once manufacturing has started. VIM Sauna reserves the right to cancel any order and refund the deposit at its discretion.

Prices shown on the site do not include shipping, which is quoted separately. VIM Sauna reserves the right to update pricing at any time. Orders are subject to the price displayed at the time of checkout.

2. Production and lead times
Lead times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. VIM Sauna will make reasonable efforts to communicate updates on order status. Delays caused by supply chain conditions, material availability, or production scheduling do not constitute grounds for order cancellation or refund once production payment has been collected.

3. Shipping and delivery
Shipping is arranged through third-party freight carriers. VIM Sauna is not liable for carrier delays, damage occurring after handoff to the freight carrier, or delivery failures caused by inaccurate address information provided by the customer. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring site accessibility on delivery day.

Risk of loss and title for sauna units passes to the customer upon handoff to the freight carrier. Accessories pass to the customer upon handoff to FedEx or UPS.

4. Assembly and installation
VIM Sauna does not provide assembly services directly. The customer is solely responsible for all assembly, installation, and site preparation. VIM Sauna is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss that occurs during or as a result of the assembly or installation process, whether performed by the customer, a VIM authorized installer, or any other third party contractor.

5. Electrical installation
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring their electrical infrastructure is properly prepared prior to use. All electric sauna heaters require a 220/230 volt dedicated circuit installed by a licensed electrician. VIM Sauna does not provide electrical services. VIM Sauna is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from electrical installation or use.

6. Returns and refunds
We do not accept returns on delivered sauna units. Defect and incorrect parts claims must be submitted before any affected parts are moved from the delivery location or before installation begins. See our Return and Refund Policy for full details.

7. Warranty
VIM Sauna products are covered by a limited warranty as described on our Warranty page. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal residential use. It does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, commercial use without prior arrangement, or unauthorized modifications.

8. Force majeure
VIM Sauna shall not be liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performing its obligations if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, labor disputes, government actions, power outages, pandemics, or disruptions in transportation or communication networks.

9. Indemnification
By purchasing from VIM Sauna, the customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VIM Sauna LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from the customer's use or misuse of the sauna, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

10. Assumption of risk
THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES AND ACCEPTS THAT THE USE OF A SAUNA INVOLVES INHERENT RISKS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE RISK OF BURNS, DEHYDRATION, FAINTING, AND DEATH. BY PURCHASING AND USING THE SAUNA, THE CUSTOMER ASSUMES ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH ITS USE AND AGREES TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS VIM SAUNA LLC FROM ANY LIABILITY FOR SUCH RISKS.

11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VIM Sauna's total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the product in question. VIM Sauna is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

12. Disclaimer of warranties
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN VIM SAUNA'S LIMITED WARRANTY, VIM SAUNA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

13. Changes to orders
Changes to confirmed orders may be requested prior to production payment by contacting hello@vimsauna.com. Once production payment has been collected and manufacturing has begun, changes to order specifications are not accepted.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, excluding its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be exclusively resolved by binding arbitration in Portland, Oregon, in accordance with the rules of Arbitration Services of Portland, Inc. The decision of the arbitrator(s) shall be final and binding on both parties.
