For our first two Cubist saunas built in Portland, Oregon, we selected Nakamoto Forestry shou sugi ban cladding for the exterior. It's an absolutely stunning look.
We love this ancient process of torching wood to make it an enduring material that withstands years of rain, snow, and sun (not to mention the timber becomes ember-resistant).
We're honored to partner with Nakatomo for our semi-custom Cubist and Bezier saunas.
